I could have ever given to you,

   Wildest Expectations Farm is sad to share the March 9th 2000 death of Nelly Des Ongrais, our foundation mare.  She was a wonderful mother and a treasured friend.   She will be missed more than can be expressed. She will live on in her offspring's accomplishments and our loving memories.  No one could know the effect Nelly would have when she was given to Christine in 1988.   Nelly started the Wildest Expectations Farm Selle Francais breeding program which has become so wonderfully successful.  She consistently produced champion offspring that include: Haricot Du Glenn, I'dbedelighted,  Justa Kids Dream, and Last Romance.   Nelly was the kind of horse who improved the skills of the best riders, yet was gentle enough to carry a two-year-old without any worries.  She will always be in the hearts of those who knew her and worked with her.  For more about Nelly's incredible contributions to Wildest Expectations farm see the following articles:
